Plan

Where I lay my head

Where I lay my head

Till the sun goes down, I’ll leave my bed
I’ll face the world once more
When daylight fades I’ll lay my head
Where I laid to rest before
I’m the voyager I watch myself retrace my steps
Then the rain comes down and silently the earth forgets
Where I left my mark where I felt the sun
Spirits fading into twilight one by one

Pictures of another place
When time is gone it leaves its trace
The memory’s burned into the skin
The living proof of where we’ve been
Where I lay my head
Eternity
Where I lay my head
Where you lay with me

Time will cure us all

Time will cure us all
Lyrics © Chris Moore 2009

Sometimes I believe I’m just floating in the atmosphere
And way down there below I can see us searching everywhere
For something we should know, for something we should never let go
I was there, saw it all, felt the pride, saw the fall

Fate moves us together and it pushes us apart again
And it breaks us in two, tells us nothing is forever when
The world that we knew is falling apart no matter what we do
I was there, saw it all, felt the pride, saw the fall

Running on empty, the world is just a stone
The let-down of ambition that never finds a home
Your head against the wall, your eyes upon the ground
Still fighting for the prizes and the treasure can’t be found

Time, time will cure us all
Yes time, time will cure us all

And the faces of the future still lay hidden in the middle of your soul
And the passion for adventure brings frustration and temptation takes its toll
That lonely road to nowhere is all we seem to find
When circumstances tell us out of sight is out of mind
The world can be a playground or a prison all too small
We have to touch each other or there’s nothing there at all

Time, time will cure us all
Yes time, time will cure us all

Yes I was there, I saw it all, I felt the pride, I saw the fall
Time, time will cure us all
Yes time, time will cure us all

The Space Between

In the beginning there was light and a world yet to be seen
First the day and then the night then the space between
Then the space between
What you want is what you see but what you see is just effect
What you need is something deeper but what you see is what you get
In the space between
It's just another Monday morning and the writing's on the wall...
Take it take it now yeah you can take it all
I've got no use for money no it makes me feel so small
It's just another Monday morning and the writing's on the wall
Ain't nothing going to happen don't kid yourself too much
No don't kid yourself at all
So what you got what you got now where you are is where I've been
What you see is what you get now it isn't real it's just the space between
Between the man and all he wanted between the world and what it's lost
It's like we never knew the value but we always feel the cost
What you want is what you see what you see is just effect
What you need is something deeper but what you see is what you get
It's just another Monday morning and the writing's on the wall
Ain't nothing gonna happen so don't kid yourself at all
It's nothing new it's just the story of a lifetime
So who made these rules that keep me chasing after
All the things we take from one another
And whose world is this now where everything belongs
And there's no sister and no brother
There's only what it cost to bring them up right
To follow where we've been there's only what you pay
To live from day to day in the space between
Yeah it's the space between
In the space between
What you want is what you see what you see is just effect
What you know is what you need but what you see is what you get
In the space between
It's just another Monday morning and the writing's on the wall
Ain't nothing gonna happen, so don't kid yourself too much
No don't kid yourself at all imagine everything is new
No rules to tell you what to do in the space between
